As we reflect on the whirlwind of excitement and incredible milestones that marked this year, there’s one achievement that stands out as the pinnacle of our collective pride: Winning the Rising Star Award at the East Midlands Start-Up Awards.
Nominated for numerous accolades, including making it to the finalists at the NNBN Awards, we are especially thrilled to have won the Rising Star Award at the East Midlands Start-Up Awards. This accomplishment holds a special place in our hearts as, at the time of winning, we had been in business for just six months. To be acknowledged for our hard work and potential so early in our journey is truly incredible.
The night of the award ceremony was filled with laughter, valuable networking opportunities, and strengthened team bonds. Winning this award was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our year.
In August of this year, we moved into our new headquarters at the Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC).
Situated within the Harborough Innovation Centre, this dynamic setting provides us with valuable opportunities to network and connect with fellow businesses in the area.
The HIC itself is a warm and welcoming community hub, and we take pride in being a part of it. We look forward to the continued growth and collaboration that our new space at HIC will undoubtedly bring.
This year, Milestone became members of the Northamptonshire Chamber and secured a feature in the bi-monthly publication, InBusiness magazine.
This esteemed magazine, distributed to key decision-makers in and around Northamptonshire, spotlighted Milestone, highlighting our business’s essence and key accomplishments achieved since Milestone began.
Being honored with a dedicated article is a source of immense pride for us, and we look forward to expanding our presence in more magazines next year, raising awareness about our services and reaching a wider audience.
This year has taken us to numerous events, including Multimodal, Intralogistex, and the Warehouse Distribution and Fleet Forum.
Each gathering has been both informative and enjoyable, providing valuable opportunities to build connections and network with like-minded individuals in our industry. These events allowed us to stay updated on the latest technologies, gain insights into industry news, and foster connections with people and businesses.
Attending as a team not only strengthened our bonds but also facilitated the exchange of new insights and knowledge among us.
The experiences at these events in 2023 have been incredible, and we eagerly anticipate revisiting them in the future while also exploring new opportunities.
In 2023, we proudly launched our new and improved website!
This endeavour demanded considerable time, hard work, and dedication, but the results were truly worth it. Our Operations Manager, Tahnee, worked hard to create a modern, user-friendly website that encapsulates our business identity and is packed with easily digestible information.

Cheers to Milestone Projects! In September, we joyously marked our first anniversary. While there might not have been cake and candles, each of us took a moment to reflect on a year dedicated to doing what we love and taking pride in the value we bring to our clients.
This past year has been a whirlwind of achievements, from winning awards and taking on exciting projects to expanding our team. Witnessing the company’s substantial growth has been truly gratifying. The support from our network has been incredible, affirming that we’re steering Milestone in the right direction.

As we bid farewell to 2023, what does the upcoming year hold for Milestone in 2024?
